“It is the wee hours of the morning, three friends who were out late together walk toward home down an empty urban side street. This painting depicts that particular mood of spent restlessness and the poetic calm of the pre-dawn hour. This is the second version of this particular idea where I’m presenting the subject in a kind of cinematic motif.”
